The Trinity in History (How Not to Be a Heretic)

Bruce Ware

Our songs, prayers, teachings, and conversations sometimes unwittingly contain theological errors that misrepresent the Trinity. We may not see that as too serious, but when we realize that it is God’s identity with which we are dealing, and thus with all that God does for his world and for us in creation and salvation, it is important to make sure we teach and think biblically on this matter. Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately) those errors have all been tried in history and found wanting and unbiblical. Some are the result of failing to read the Bible well. Others have sought to be innovative in their analogies of God. Whatever the reason, this seminar will help you avoid the Trinitarian heresies of the past and better understand what it means that God is Father, Son, and Spirit.
